Why are we doing all these stupid things to attract people to an empty half dead forum?
Who in their right minds would look at this forum and say "I'm going to stick around"
Only crazy people like us will.
We have nothing to offer. Every forum has forum games sections, it doesn't "bring a forum to life" it's just a spam section. To bring a forum to life you need real topics with real discussions. And the best way to do that is to HAVE something to offer.
Which we don't yet. We shouldn't be advertising or anything like that until we have a good number of screenshots, and possibly a working open alpha.
If we had a working open alpha people could play that would keep people here. THAT'S when we should advertise.

Advertising now is saying "Hey, come check out this dead forum so you can leave and never come back."

guys he`s right, sure we need more members! but still we NEED the game
soon DBO comes out, everyone will play that and DBU issent important anymore!
you guys realy need to make a server and a beta!

New members are great, but if we have patience and wait til there is something people can play, even if it's very basic, then people will stck around for the updates.

The same thing happened on the last MMOs I was working on. People left because there was nothing, it dies. Some of the people started a new group, waited until they had an early beta, and now it has a large community.

Yup, thats true, but its hard to get motivated for a game without a forum with at least a few members. But if we really want to grow we need a beta, thats true, and were working hard to get it, sadly our server happened to be a scammer, he only did it to get our source. So we dont have one right now, it will be hamachi or someone else, were not in the position to buy our own dedicated server. But we need the base elk! Hurry lol.

Well, I suppose the fastest way to work would be for me to pump out a low quality full base, with all the positions needed, and we can put that in for the alpha. Then I can work on making them all higher quality and replace them as it happens.

Yup, great, you shouldnt change the sizes though. We have to code that all in. How he walks and all and the attack animations, and the dimensions. Thats why we cant just use another base that would be a big waste of work. It takes about 4 hours to code the first full base sprite. After that its just copy/paste and change a few numbers

lol nop. But yeah, well leave it how it is now, except, Ill improve the Forum RPG, alot.

Yeah, I've been ill for a while, so I havent worked on programming the GUI in. But as soon as I get it done, wich is, hopefully, this weekend, I can atleast show off some screens. Will let you know when its done
